Kalikalos is a holistic community and retreat center set in a tranquil, healing, natural setting close to the crystal clear beaches of the Aegean sea in Greece. Just being at Kalikalos is relaxing and healing enough as it is and the center serves as the perfect environment for a number of excellent workshops and retreats that they offer each summer.
When you attend a workshop or retreat at Kalikalos you join a temporary, yet full featured community. By spending a week or two away from your everyday life at Kalikalos you will be able to reconnect with nature, your true self and feel positive about your life and the future of Planet Earth.
The Kalikalos summer community draws on the values and wisdom of other well established holistic centers such as Findhorn, Scotland; ZEGG in Germany; Tamera in Portugal and Auroville in India making it a very peaceful place that values co-creation with nature, co-operation and peace between men and women and work as "love in action".
The 2010 summer program of workshops and retreats starts in May 2010. This year Kalikalos will be hosting retreats in Natural Construction, Vipassana Meditation, Bowen Therapy, Yoga, Transformational and Compassionate communication, Mind/Body Detox and much more. Due to the stunning location, quality of the workshops and excellent affordability, these workshops are very popular every year and are already filling up fast for the 2010 programs.
