The purpose of this blog, my free ebook and website is to provide top quality information and tools to help people live with increasing levels of health, happiness and ultimately bliss.

This blog is to keep me accountable, I have put my ideas out there in my ebook and website, but what is the point of these tools and ideas if I, the author don’t live it and practice what I preach?

So as often as I can, I am going to post here, what I personally am doing to create more Bliss in my life. My life is already great, I have an amazing wife and 5 month old twins (a boy and a girl) and a growing career as a singer/songwriter and writer. Although my life is great, it can always be better. Bliss has no ceiling and I am constantly looking for ways that my life can be even more Blissful. To experience Bliss is after all, what we are here on this planet for. It is our birthright.

First I want to share with you what my Bliss is. I ask many people “What do you love doing” and many of them can’t tell me. They say “I just don’t know yet”. That is fine, it becomes clear when the time is right. I am fortunate enough to know what my Bliss is. There are a few things. Performing live my original music, sharing ideas on healing and living a more Blissful life via my website, being with my wife and gorgeous baby twins, swimming in the ocean, singing are the top things that bring me Bliss. When I play a live show of original music, at the end of the show, I am so high that I can’t understand why any musician would need to take drugs! I am just buzzing. There is no mistake that the experience of playing live music catapults me beyond happiness and into Bliss.

I am interested in bringing into my life more things that give me that feeling, or spending more time doing the things that I already know bring me to Bliss. It is my mission to empower you the readers of this blog and visitors to www.pathstobliss.com to do the same and provide a place to share our experiences on facebook and twitter.

If you have downloaded and read my free ebook you will know what I mean by the term “Drains” to life energy and “Gains” to life energy.

I have identified some things that “drain” my life energy and am working to eliminate them. They are:

1) Overeating, Eating more than my body needs, eating too fast.
2) Unfocussed, unproductive time in front of the computer (writing this blog certainly does NOT fall into that category!)

There are many more things I have identified that drain my life energy but I will start with these two for now and will be blogging about my progress in the next few weeks. When I am satisfied I have eliminated those drains I will move on to the next ones.

I have identified some things that are huge “gains” of life energy for me.

1) Swimming in the ocean twice a day (its like hitting a reset button!!)
2) Singing/Playing Music. This is my main Bliss
3) Being present in what I am doing, especially when I am with my baby twins. (Being present is a challenge for me I have a very active mind)

So, this is what I am working with for now.

I hope this inspires you to start to look at your life and what things “drain” your energy and what things make you “gain” energy. When you start to eliminate the drains and do more of the things that help you gain life energy you move towards bliss.

I hope you have a blissful day,

Daniel Coates,
